On this page we will talk about plastic pollution and the harmful impacts of plastic waste in our enviroment. Micro-plastics are small pieeces of plastic. These are harmful to human and animal health because animals mistaken micro-plastics as food and some humans eat animals, so animals and humans may have micro-plastics in their bodies and may choke on them. Single-use plastics are disposable items that are used once before they are thrown away or recycled.
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is an island or collection of thousands of plastics and debris in the North Pacific Ocean.
